I don't know about you, but I love a polka dot. So fun and feminine with a touch of the retro vibe. This JCrew gray and pink sweater is precious and so easy to throw on with a pair of skinnies. My absolute favorite item on this list are the Madewell Skimmers. I mean so cute, a pointy toe, and a great price (especially since I really want these). I love this chambray top with faint white dots all over it. It's a nice subtle upgrade. I really wanted to add these to the list, but they are not guilt free but SO cute. Happy weekend!!

With all of the new arrivals popping up everywhere, I can't help but have my eye on a new bag for Fall. I love the snake print and shape of the Tory Burch shoulder bag. It would add a major amount of sass to any outfit. I've never been a huge Marc by Marc Jacobs fan, but when the new bags for Fall came out I completely changed my opinion. I love that some of the styles are more structured and have incorporated a few new textures into the mix. This black option is a great basic black bag and I love this fun colorblock bag--great combo of autumn colors. My absolute favorite bag from the above selection is the Tory Burch hobo (center). I think this bag needs to be apart of my life like now. I kinda love it and need it! 

From Floral to Fall

Floral pants have been everywhere this summer and I love the idea of wearing them as we  transition to Fall. Just by adding a blazer, leather jacket, or dark blouse you are instantly looking forward to cooler days. I also love how Miranda Kerr (center) paired her floral pants with a casual neutral striped sweater. Olivia Palermo added a contrast print to her look with leopard pumps. Absolute perfection! Who says floral is only for Spring? Not me. 

Vacation Essentials

I'm an leaving for vacation in a few days and I cannot wait! My husbands family has been going to the same lake in Northern Minnesota since the late 1940s and it's simply the most amazing place. I am so happy to be apart of such a special family tradition. It's very casual so packing is always super quick and easy. I take a lot of knits and chino shorts. It gets very cool at night (hallelujah) so I like to bring light layering pieces. I also like to bring workout gear for nice long cool walks in the mornings.  Our afternoons are spent mostly on the beach or out on the boat. Saying this trip is relaxing would be an understatement. Below are my top two books that I can't wait to read while laying on the beach! Are we there yet?!?

My obsession with leather continues with these leather shorts by DVF. I would wear this outfit everyday of the week and twice on Sundays. Needless to say I love it! A blazer, peplum, leather, and bows--what more could you ask for? I have been lusting over these Carven bow slingbacks for some time now. They add the perfect pop of color! This outfit really made my Monday morning!

Happy Friday! I put together a list of random fun guilt free finds I've been coveting lately. I would definitely use the JCrew dot pouch if I just needed to take an ID and a credit card with me somewhere. So handy and small! I love a pretty iPhone case and JCrew makes my favorite phone cases. I am kind of obsessed with these Kate Spade armadillo studs, so Texan! Can you believe these pink loafers are from Target?!? They come in a few different colors, but I love the hot pink. Gap makes a very functional canvas tote. It's large and color blocked, what more could you ask for? I bought these super cute hair ties at Anthro and I love them--definitely worth all the hype! The cobalt blue belt with a bow is perfection. Last but not least is this super cute gold tray that I would love to put in my bathroom to keep my makeup on. That wraps up another friday with finds that won't leave you feeling guilty. Have a wonderful weekend!! xoxo

Lovely Lace

I have a major adoration for lace at the moment. From tops to beautiful dresses, lace is everywhere. I have my eye on the black Milly dress for an upcoming wedding. The back of this Milly dress is so fun and totally makes it. I love the sleeves on the blue lace and green lace dresses. The Joie top is simply beautiful, I would pair it with skinnies and pumps. This is a great top for a date night! The rich burgundy color of the Burberry lace pencil skirt is stunning and such a perfect shade for Fall. Lace adds so much texture to any look and can be paired with pretty much anything. I can't wait to find a few new lace pieces for Fall!

Make a Statement

My favorite way to polish off an outfit is to add a statement necklace. These eye catchers are perfect to throw on with the simplest of outfits and instantly make it interesting. As much as I love all the necklaces with colored stones, I also love how the Dannijo options add a little edge with a mostly metal look. I would pair any of these statement makers with skinnies, a loose fitting tee, and a sharp blazer. Effortless chic at it's finest!

Looking Forward to Fall

I am really excited that Fall new arrivals are slowly popping up online and in stores. I'm seriously over the heat and I am ready to focus on Fall! Above are some of my favorite looks I've seen thus far online. I have a serious obsession with leather and I am most definitely adding a leather jacket to my closet this year. Peplums and structured blazers are of course very high on my list of must haves as well as anything with a bold print. Below would be a selection of Fall accessories that I am swooning over. No words for the Fendi. It's gorgeous. I love the Zara pump that has the pop of color on the heel, I think that it's interesting and a really fun way to spice things up. I adore the DVF clutch and the fact that it's calf hair will add texture to any outfit.  And of course I had to include something from my girl Tory, her riding boots are amazing!

Today is a semi Guilt Free Friday. I came across this gold and mirrored tray (top right corner) on Pinterest and I fell in love with it immediately. I did not fall in love with it's price tag. BUT it's just so pretty I decided to include it. I'm sure it's in someone's guilt free budget. Same story with the gold tree table. Now onto the things that are in the realm of possibility. I actually bought the blue coasters from Anthropologie the other day and I love them. They complement my ikat chairs really well. I have a bit of a problem with buying vases but I can't help it. I really need to add the white porcelain urn to my living room!

I pinned the pic in the lower left hand corner (with the yellow blouse) the other day and it really struck a cord with me. I've never been one to wear many "hard" looking things but I absolutely love this look. It's just so downtown cool girl and I can't get enough of it. The studding looks so chic paired with a beautiful blouse or just skinnies and a tee. Can we talk about what a babe Emma Roberts (center) is. And of course Kate Moss is the epitome of cool in her leather jacket. Even Burberry has an amazing studded version of their classic trench. To stud-up to my wardrobe I would choose an accessory to add a little edge to my look. I would happily incorporate any of the below options into my closet!

It's not a secret that I love blue. From decorating around the house to clothes and accessories, blue just seems to be my color. I am obsessed with the cobalt handbag trend. I am beyond thrilled that pointy toe's are back! I think there is something about the pointy toe flat that makes even the most casual skinny jeans and tee outfit instantly dressed up. The pointy toe also elongates your legs which is always a major plus! Above is a roundup of some of my favorite options out there right now (obvi some are major wish list wants). Steve Madden has a few different colors to choose from but this shade of blue is beautiful and I think you could put it with anything. The Me Too version is also budget friendly and has a cute bow! Then we have the wish list pairs (more like in my dreams list). The Louboutins are super cool with studs and a great neutral color. AND saving the best for last, the Valentino Zebra Print Calf Hair flats (hello lover). Seriously drooling over here. It does not get much better than this people!

This would be an ideal outfit for me to wear to work. I love the simplicity of the striped tee paired with a fun pencil skirt. The only time you will see me wearing a pencil skirt is if it's got a little sass! This particular one is neon and eyelet which is the perfect amount of sass. JCrew has an amazing selection of pencil skirts in different prints and bright colors that will not bore you to death.I love adding a pop of leopard (it truly is a neutral). AND that necklace is beyond words amazing! A bit pricey, but worth it! This delicate cuff with sparkly ends is a nice addition that doesn't compete with the necklace. I would have the best day at work in this outfit!

Today on Guilt Free Friday I bring you a bevy of super cute dresses all falling under $100. Dresses are my favorite thing to wear to work in the summertime so I don't like to spend a lot on one particular dress. I would rather spend less and get more (not skimping on quality, of course).  I seriously want all of these, so cute and all budget friendly! TGIF!

Spotlight: Emma Stone

Emma Stone is most definitely having a fashion moment on the press tour for The Amazing Spider-Man. She has really rocked it out on the red carpet. Here are my favorite looks from the gorgeous star. At the MTV Movie Awards she put the peplum to work in a Martin Grant ensemble (this is by far my absolute favorite look). She chose an Elie Saab Fall 2012 jumpsuit for the London Premiere. This is also pretty major! Emma went causal for the NYC Photocall wearing JBrand and Rag and Bone. I wish I had this exact outfit!  Last but not least, she wore a custom made Andrew Gn dress in Germany. Emma seriously looks great throughout the entire press tour and I LOVE her blonde hair!

I would love to be wearing this super cute blue swim suit at the beach today, but I'll just be pooling it! I added my three essential for this midweek holiday: SkinnyGirl Margs, a cute floppy sun hat, and last but definitely not least sensitive skin sun screen. Happy 4th!!

I came across Dara Ettinger awhile back and I absolutely love this line of jewelry, especially the earrings. All of the jewelry is made from natural stones. It's the perfect mix of nature and glamour. I would wear any of these pieces dressed down during the week and dressed up for a night out. My favorite would definitely be the Blake earrings!

Short post today, it's been a busy weekend! Here are a few things I would love to wear on the Fourth of July. I'm obsessed with this JCrew swimsuit. The bows are perfection! The Tory Burch tote is great to carry all your poolside necessities and could also transition to wear to dinner with this amazing Calypso maxi dress. The Jack Rogers also make the transition from pool to dinner seamlessly. Being patriotic never looked so chic and easy!
